Kathy Hwang is the Managing Director of Special Projects at Golden Gate Global. Ms. Hwang is also the President of Golden Wealth Management Group, an affiliated company of GGG, which provides investment management and financial planning services.

She brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She was a Director at BlackRock’s iShares Strategic Initiatives Group where she developed and launched next generation ETF products.

Prior to BlackRock, she worked at The Vanguard Group where she served on the Institutional Sales Executive Committee and held two senior positions: Head of US ETF Product Management and Chief of Staff to the Head of Institutional Sales.

She was also a Vice President in the Institutional Securities Group at Morgan Stanley. She earned her MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from the Honors College of Stony Brook University. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese.
